A Thank You Message

Thank You…
To you, our customers, our staff & the people in our community that have helped put society back on track to re-opening.
It has for many of us , in many ways been the most trying of times in recent memory & thanks to the patience, fortitude & support of the Black Country community that we can once again begin to open our doors & welcome you again from Monday.
We have been here twice before, exiting a lock down. So we will be taking nothing for granted & all the measures such as compulsory masks, repeated sanitisation of areas, customer limits will be in place once again when we open for our & your safety. Hopefully this time may be the last time.
I specifically want to thank Paul & James on the shop floor who make all your items & many of you may have met. They have had to deal with no small level of uncertainty for the last 12 months. From periods of prolonged furlough to periods of short impromptu furloughs, working a day , then being off for an unknown number of days with all the uncertainty that brings. When you mix that in with a dynamically changing work environment , I have to say that I could not be prouder of our team.
They have been an extraordinary example of commitment & continue to grow from these challenges as professionals & as people.
To enable them to do this, I need to thank the majority of you that will read this. Our customers.
For every set of embroidered work uniform, for every birthday gift t shirt & all the things ordered in-between no matter how big or how small.
Every single one has gone directly to either supporting our team & their families or helped us continue to promote & support the Black Country community with activities such as our poppy appeal, Acorns hospice sale or something as simple as this week being able to donate free uniform to Fens Pool Community association.
We love the Black Country & by supporting us with your orders, you have helped us support your community. I hope as society begins to open up, we can work together to grow together.
I’d like to leave a final word for those of you that have been affected directly by this virus, either personally or through a loved one.
Thank you for your courage & dignity that you have had to find to recover either physically or emotionally. I send you my warmest thoughts.
Hope to see you soon & ….Avagudun
