The Black Country Flag
Adopted as the Official Black Country Flag in 2012.
The original design created by 12 year old Gracie Sheppard is based on the quote “Black by day Red by night” which was used to describe the Black Country region during the Industrial Revolution.
The Black represents the coal & soot from the furnaces that could be seen in the day & the red was the glow of the same furnaces at night.
These colours are separated by white shaped into the glass cone which represents the glass blowing history of the area.
Through this runs chain which again was a staple product for which the region was known throughout the world.

Good fit Arrived within 4 days together with the Med in the BC face mask. Good fit and is well made. Like so many beanies, if you haven't got a round head the hat rides up from covering the ears over time. A pity the hat is made in China and not UK.
